Maria Reed, Keller Williams Realty
Fort Collins Board of REALTORS® Vislon Statement
By Kelli Wallace, Communications Chair
Integrity, honest communication and quality service are the core principals on which Maria Reed has built her Real Estate business. And she means business.
In 2005, Maria stepped away from her position as Vice President of Service and Operations for a business leasing finance company to become a REALTOR®. Her experince overseeing customer service, quality assurance and operations, laid a solid foundation for her career in Real Estate.
Maria has not wasted any time plugging into the Real Estate community. She is active in the Home Builder's Association Sales & Marketing Council, the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce, and is in her second year of serving on the Agent Leadership Council for Keller Williams Realty - Fort Collins. Maria balances these commitments with her fair share of volunteer work. She has participated in and/or supported organizations ranging from The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program, Disabled Veterans, Crossroads Safe house and the Harmony House. Her recent events include The American Lung Association's Juvenile Asthma Walk /Run and The MS Walk.
For newer agents, Maria recommends to "look around you. Find someone you respect and see as a success in the business and ask them how they did it. Surround yourself with a strong support system because Real Estate is hard, very hard, but it can be so much fun and the rewards plentiful." For Maria, her real estate company's Mentor and Education programs prepared her for what to expect and how to succeed in the real estate business. She identifies Sandy Deeds, Mike Weber, Bob Sutton and Keith Berry as agents that give generously of their time, commit to the success of their Mentee's and always reach out when someone needs lifting up.
While seeking advice from successful professionals, Maria has also brought fresh ideas to the table. She limits the numbers of listings she will take at at anyone time in order to maintain quality and efficiently service her Sellers. She also previews homes for Buyers and when possible provides visual tours to Buyers to streamline their search. These strategic decisions enhance her clients' experience and reflect well on the Real Estate Industry.
At the end of the day, Maria is proud to be a REALTOR®. She explains, "I clearly admit I am NOT in it for the money. I'm in it for the people and bringing the quality of life and (home ownership) home."
Buyers use the Internet NOT to buy homes but to ELIMINATE them. Don't let your home be eliminated from the competition. Currently the co-Chairman of a Fort Collins Board of Realtor's Agent committee, I volunteer my time to assist my peers with up to date information from local professionals in a monthly meeting as well as participate in Board meetings. Member and General Board Member of the National Home Builder's Associate's local Sales & Marketing Counsel. Member of the National e-Woman's Network and will appear in Sandra Yancey's national radio broadcast. Member of the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce. Agenty Owner of Keller Williams of Northern Colorado. Member of the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program. I hold a Certification as a New Home Sales Professional, and a Certified Referring Travel Agent. Coming from out of the area? Thinking about visiting first or vacationing to take in the sights? As an added benefit and resource, I have arranged to have discounted and convenience Travel links below. Subscribe to a weekly Steals and Deals for your next vacation.
Helping other businesses achieve success through networking with local, regional and national companies by matching people to services & business is antoher passion of mine. I've linked relocating clients (buyers) to clients I've helped in the past in Real Estate transactions. All of a sudden, employers now find the right employees. Relocation and employment concerns are not a "woman" only problem, but the e-Woman's Network has taught me how we can help others by just asking "How can I help you?". I find being a Realtor and Certified Referring Travel Agent has advantages of a huge network. So, I am asking, "How will you let me help you?" So, when Real Estate needs arise in your home, with friends or family, wouldn't you appreciate the personalization I can offer? Don't you and your friends deserve the kind of care I show the community? When Friends, Family and colleagues mention moving: Keep Maria in Mind. Thank you. I assure you there will be no disappointment. |
